LEGAL STRUCTURE
As a Community Interest Company CIC our income is principally reinvested for the benefit of the business or community purpose, rather than being driven by the need to maximize profit for shareholders and owners. The company has an "asset lock" and on dissolution any assets will be transferred to an appropriate charity or non-profit organization. LEARN MORE
MANAGEMENT
Executive Director - the highest-ranking official in the organization, with ultimate responsibility for statutory reporting and making managerial decisions. LEARN MORE
Director - Senior management individuals who are responsible as heads of departments, services, projects, programs and operational logistics. LEARN MORE
Project Director - A project director strategically oversees, monitors and manages a project from an executive level.
Manager - Individual responsible for controlling or administering an organization, department, project, service or group of staff.
Executive - A high level individual with powers and authority to put plans or actions into effect within the company.
Volunteer - An individual who freely offers to take part in an enterprise or undertake a task, role or assignment.
RECRUITMENT - This is an ongoing process with new roles constantly being created at all levels. There are no limitations for STORM volunteers in terms of role progression or development and all volunteers are encouraged to aspire to be the best they can be while playing to their professional strengths, natural talents ore experience. STORM is an egalitarian organization which operates on a policy of equality and transparency.
FUNDING - STORM CIC was founded as an unfunded entity meaning that it does not receive any funds on a regular basis, from any institution, group or organization. The network is reliant on appropriate grants, its own fundraising initiatives and any revenue producing commercial projects or services to provide its income.
