Poverty affects millions and millions of people and populations world-wide.

From those subsisting on barely a $1 a day to those in more developed populations struggling to survive in a low income category.

The STORM FOUNDATION is being established by the Executives at SGN CIC to address some of the effects of this critical issue at home and abroad.

Latest from the World Bank...

Global extreme poverty rose in 2020 for the first time in over 20 years as the disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic compounded the forces of conflict and climate change, which were already slowing poverty reduction progress.

About 120 million additional people are living in poverty as a result of the pandemic, with the total expected to rise to about 150 million by the end of 2021.

Poverty Alleviation...

The STORM Foundation will work to deliver innovative services and support designed to impact and alleviate the effects of poverty and some of the main root causes.

The Foundation is currently taking steps to form a suitable board of management for Governance and to launch an innovative new service addressing the issues of poverty within our communities.

Your Participation...

The Foundation is looking to raise £100,000 to launch the service which will be designed to directly benefit single parent households, low income, fixed income, vulnerable persons, students and others.

If you would like to make a contribution or have skills and experience that you would like to share, please contact, in the first instance or you can make your contribution here

The STORM Foundation

STORM is working to alleviate poverty and provide support services for the most vulnerable in our communities. Your donation will help us to provide single parent households, over 65 year olds on fixed income, carers, students and essential workers, with a free digital currency account which they can access at any time, to meet their needs.

With less poverty in the world, we all benefit.... By helping others you help yourself, you help your family, you help the world.

The new digital currency service will not only be accessible for domestic purchases, it can also be used to provide funding for critical services and supplies and projects at home and abroad.

This is a time when we really are all in it together, since the poverty of one affects the lifestyles of all.
